Sources before certainty
TockBOS prefers original documents, official data, court filings, agency releases, company disclosures and other primary material. When we rely on another publisher, we identify that source.
Facts, analysis and uncertainty
We try to separate what a source establishes from what we infer. Material uncertainty, missing information and meaningful limitations should be stated rather than hidden.
Corrections
When a material factual error is identified, TockBOS should correct it promptly and, where useful to readers, explain what changed.
Viewpoint
TockBOS does not use viewpoint agreement as a condition for publication. Opinion may be published from differing perspectives when it meets our standards for relevance, sourcing, disclosure and lawful expression.
